Might es un verbo modal que se utiliza para expresar posibilidad, permiso y sugerencias. Este verbo es una alternativa más cordial de may (también verbo modal) y su traducción al español es «puede ser (que)» o «podría». Además, cabe mencionar que también cuenta con su forma negativa, la cual es «might not» y se puede acortar como «mightn’t»; no obstante, es más común utilizar «might not» en el lenguaje oral para evitar confusiones ya que su pronunciación es muy parecida.
